The first step will be to get a Commercial Driver's manual from your closest DMV or we will send you a free copy. This manual will help you prepare for the written test.

 

You will need to study and pass only 3 sections:

• General Knowledge (Sections 1 and 2)

• Passenger (Section 4)

• School Bus (section 10)

 

When you are ready to take the test, we will help you schedule an appointment at the DMV for:  Commercial Learner Permit (CLP).

When you have your permit in hand, we will hire you.

After you are cleared for background check and drug test, we will teach how to drive a school bus and prepare you for your road test. While we teach you, we will pay you and training will be 2 or 3 hour, or more, a day. When you are ready for your road test, we will send you to your test site with one of our bus you trained in and an instructor.

After you pass your road test, you will be receiving your Commercial Driver license (CDL) C. And you will be officially working for us as a school bus driver, with a beginning wage of over $21 an hour.
